T- REX Summer camp students visit Agriculture Faculty On April 5, Agriculture Faculty administrators were on hand to welcome visitors and also introduce the study course curriculums in the different fields to Mathayomsueksa Grade 5 students studying under the T-REX Summer Camp’55 project. The students attending the camp will further their studies at the University during the 2012-13 school year.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Summana Neera, the Deputy Dean for the Academic Department, together with educational service academics and the Faculty of Agriculture staff welcomed and introduced the 80 visitors to course syllabus from the Bachelors Degree to PhD. Degree level, at the meeting room of the Faculty of Agriculture. Asst. Prof. Dr. Summana talked about the significance of agriculture and the importance of agricultural careers to the country and the general public as well as the different fields and careers open to students in Agriculture. There it was followed by the Q & A session with great interest paid to the field of agriculture. The visitors also observed the lab of the Veterinary Medicine Faculty with Ms. Katsama Tangmutthapatarakul and Ms. Warun Kota giving the introduction and lecture.
The T-REX Summer Camp’55 Project, run by T-REX Khon Kaen Academic Centre brought together Mathayomsueksa Grade 5 students from several schools in the Northeast region for short course training in preparation for taking university entrance exams for the 2012- 2013 semesters. This training course was held from March 11 – April 12, 2012.
Students participating in the course were introduced by the organizers to the KKU faculties so that they could get to know more in detail about the school so that they could make a decision about their field of study. This training session focused on the Faculty of Agriculture.
