Royal Funeral ceremonies held in Khon Kaen

On April 9, at Wat Nong Waeng Aram Luang temple in Khon Kaen, KKU administrators led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittichai Triratanasirichai, the KKU President, attended the funeral rite and ceremony. He was also accompanied by Prof. Dr. Suthiphan Jitpimolmas, Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kullapapruk Piewthongngam, Vice President for Community Relations and Corporate Communications, and Prof. Dr. Aphirat Siritharathiwat, Vice President for Nong Khai campus, as the representatives of KKU.

They all paid last respects to HRH Princess Bejaratana, expressing their sadness, laying sandalwood flowers, and bidding farewell to the beloved Princess together with thousands of both public and private mourners in the province.

The ceremonies were presided over by Khon Kaen Governor Sombat Triwatsuwan and were organized by the Khon Kaen Provincial Culture Office.
