Traditional ceremonies held to honor the elderly at KKU

On April 11, at the Sirikunakorn Building, the Offices of KKU President, the traditional ceremony was held to sprinkling honor the elderly by pouring holy water over their hands and to ask for their blessings for good fortune. Attending the ceremony were Tanya Pakdee, the Director of the General Affairs Division, Office of the KKU President, KKU personnel and staff with the aim of bringing good luck and fortune as well as preserve Thai arts and culture.

This ceremony to pay respects to the elderly was held by the younger generation to make them aware of the long held Thai traditions. All participants dressed up in Thai traditional costumes as part of a campaign to preserve and promote Thai culture.
