KKU students participate in on the job training overseas

The Faculty of Nursing, KKU sent twenty 3rd year students overseas on March 31, 2012 to exchange experiences andto worktogether with other students in nursing under the academic cooperation program with nursing schools around Asia.

8 students from KKU were well prepared for the exchange after advisory lectures on international nursing experiences was held. Students traveled toGuangxi Traditional Chinese Medicine University and Guangxi Medical University in China anda further 8 students travelled to study at Muhammadiyar School of Nursing, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

These exchange activities andprograms are expected toenhance skill and experience in nursing work by offering the students a diverse working field and offering them the opportunity to learn differences in culture as well as improve their English skills. The good relations that were created by working as a team alongside health and nursing personnel overseas will prepare them to cope with the integration of ASEAN Economic Community.
