Faculty of Associated Medical Science welcomes Lao Health Sciences students and faculty

The Faculty of Associated Medical Science at KKU welcomedstudents and faculty from Laos under the university project to upgradethe students in medical sciences analysis, tograduate with a Bachelor’s Degree on April23, 2012.

Assoc. Prof. PatchareeJiaranaikoon, the Deputy Dean for Research, Graduate Study and International Relations of the Facultywas on hand to welcome Dr. WimonSukhaserm, the Dean of Associated Medical Sciences Faculty, Dr. Buathep Pumin, Deputy Dean, 8 lecturers and 26 students from the Health Sciences University, Laos.

These students participated in teaching and learningprogramsand activities, and also drill courses held at the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences.

This project to upgrade degrees is in  cooperationwith the Associated Medical Science Faculty, KKU, Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA)and the Faculty of Associate Medical Science,Health Science University ofLaos.

This upgrade project has been active since 2004, with Assoc. Yupha  Euawichitr-arun,  as the Thai  team leader  for the working  group on procedures study visits teaching and learning techniques and work observation through the lab of Public Health Units, clinics, Sri Nakarind Hospital, and the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, from April 23 – June 1, 2012.
