Japanese medical students in exchange program


Two medical students from the Fujita Health University in Japan were involved in an exchange program at Srinakarind Hospital at Khon Kaen University and on April 25, 2012 Assoc. Prof. WitoonPrasertcharoensuk, Deputy Dean for Special Activity Affairs and International Relations chaired the presentation ceremony for their work.


The two 6th year students, Mr. Ken Akao and Mr. Takuya Kawamura said that the exchange program had given them a lot of experience in both patient treatment and life in Thailand. Both students spent exchanging knowledge and views for two weeks at the Department of the Science of Medicine, after that, Mr. Kan visited the Department of Surgery while Mr. Takuya observed the work at the Department of Pediatrics.


Mr. Takuya presented his results in Thai which impressed the audience who applauded him enthusiastically.


Mrs. Sachiko Tadoka, the Honorary International Relations volunteer was accompanied by Dr. NisaWorasut and Dr. Vet.  Wisit Chongkamchoke, (former students from the Faculty of Medicine, KKU) both of whom had won scholarships to participate in the exchange program at Fujita Health University School of Medicine in Japan.


They joined the Medical students at the special lecture which drew a large audience of interested medical students.
