On 25 April, 2012 , Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yupin Techamanee, Dean of Khon Kaen University International College, with Ajarn Anuthida  Inthamon,  Ajarn Pat  Kochapakdee, Ajarn Steven Graham and Ajarn Michael  Cooke, welcomed Dr. Eric Chowanietz, International Coordinator at the faculty of Technology, De Montfort University (DMU), a public university in Leicester, UK.  The purpose of this visit to KKUIC and KKU was to initiate possible collaboration and cooperation in academic fields related to Multimedia Technology and Animation and also to explore future collaboration with DMU.

KKUIC proposed collaborations in the areas of:

-          Lecturer and student exchange programs.

-         Availability for DMU 4^th year students or new graduates’ teaching practicum/opportunities at KKUIC.

-         Registration for DMU online courses with minimal fees for KKUIC students.

-         DMU students conducting research or special projects at KKUIC under KKUIC academic staff’s supervision.

Dr. Eric Chowanietz will consult with the executive and administrators of DMU and will return in August 2012 to sign an MOU between DMU and KKUIC.
