KKU makes merit in “Thod Papa "ceremony atThai temples in the UK From April 27, -May 6, Assoc. Rangson Niemsanit, Vice President for Planning and Personnel Development, KKU was accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. SuphanneePromthes, Deputy Dean for Student Development and Art and Cultural Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. PhanneeBanchornhattakitch, the Deputy Dean for Academic and Education Quality Assurance, Assoc. Prof. Dr. ChanyaAphiparnkul, the working committee secretary, lecturers , and some 20 students from the Faculty of Public Health ,KKU traveled to the U.K. to participate in the Thod Papa ceremony. They raised 300,000 baht for the templesand maintaining the Buddhist religion at Wat Buddha Patheepand Wat SangkhaPratheep inthe U.K.
The visitors were also on the study visit to the School of Health in Social Sciences at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
