KKU freshmen students on Orientation Day
Incoming freshmen students working on their Bachelor’s Degree received brooches of the 49thKalapaphruek Class from KKU and were then sworn in as new students on May 26, 2012. They felt very proud to be freshmen of KKU taking part in Orientation day and the swearing in ceremony.
KKU organized Orientationday and the swearing in ceremony for the freshmen this year at the Golden Jubilee Conference Center with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittichai Triratanasirichai, KKU President presiding over the Opening Ceremony. He also gave a welcoming speech to the freshmen students.
Asst. Prof. Likhit Amatayakong, the Vice President for Student Development and Alumni Relations Affairs, KKU administrators, lecturers,guests of honorand students made up the audience of around 30,000 people that attended the ceremony.
The ceremony began with the presentation of the souvenir Kalapapruek brooches, the symbol of the 49thClass of KKU followed by the oath taking ceremony for the freshmen students. KKU President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittichai Triratanasirichai then gave a special lecture on the “Direction of KKU students in the future”. Then adebate was held by Asst. Prof. Likhit Amatayakong, the Vice President for StudentDevelopment and Alumni Relations Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Denphong Sudpakdee, Vice President for Academicand Information Technology on the topic entitled “Freshmen and Graduates “ and with Asst. Prof. Dolchai Srisamran, the Assistant to the KKU President, as the moderator.
The afternoon session saw a lecture by Dr. Sukamol Wiphaweepolakul, on the topic “Learn more about love and how to live on the campus”.
