On May 27, 2012, Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC) conducted New Student Orientation 2012 in order to welcome new students, give introductions, and let the students know important issues while they are studying at the university. This event was convened in the conference room on the 9^th floor of the Information Center Building. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yupin Thechamanee, Dean of Khon Kaen University International College, started the program by giving a welcome address and remarks on “Making you succeed in your study at KKUIC.” Then she introduced the academic and supportive staff of the College. After that, all students were separated into groups to meet their advisor in order to introduce themselves and get advice from the advisor.

After the morning break, there was an introduction about student services, activities, rules and regulations of Khon Kaen University by Ms. Suwattana Sawatasuk, Asst. Dean for Student Development. The last session of the orientation was the introduction of the KKUIC curriculum and study program by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamolthip Brown, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
