Engineering student receives Japanese scholarship

The Faculty of Engineering at Khon Kaen University congratulated Ms. HathaikarnMada, a student of Industrial Engineering who recently received a scholarship from theJapan Student Services Organization (JASSO) to study more about exchange programs on academic, research, arts and culture at Saitama University, Japan for a year, starting April 2012 – March 2013.

The student is financially supported for the course registration fee and personal expenses at the cost of 80,000 yen per month, (or about 32,000 baht per month). This scholarshipis expected to create a body of knowledge and exchange of experience among the students in academics, technology, social andculture. It also promotes skill development between them, especially on how to live abroad, so that she could help herself to be a good graduate asrequested bythe Engineering Faculty and University.
