Engineering lecturer receives Japan scholarship The Hitachi Scholarship Foundation, Japan selected suitable candidates from theFaculty of Engineering staff, personnel, lecturers, students, and researchers of all 5 Thai universities to receive funds to study at the doctoral degree level at the Department of Industrial and Management System Engineering, Graduate School of Creative Science and Engineering, Waseda University, Japan.
On June 19 Ajarn Sirawadee Arannart, a lecturer for the Industrial Industry Department, Faculty of Engineering, KKU wasselected as one of the selected candidates by the Foundation to receive the scholarship to Japan. She will travel to Japan to studyon September 2012,and also attend the doctoral degree course from October 1, 2012- March 31, 2016.
Waseda University or Sodai University is a private university located in the Shinjuku district of Tokyo.Itwas established in 1882,and is well-known as aprestigious Universityin the departments of Economics and Political Science. Waseda University is one of the oldest and famous universities in Japan.
The Faculty of Engineering, KKU congratulated Ajarn Sirawadee for receiving this scholarship toattend the prestigious university in Japan.
The Faculty hopes that the knowledge gainedfrom the Japanese university will helpher develop her teaching skills for the Faculty of Engineering in KKU when she returns to the campus.
