KKU Agriculture Faculty students receive scholarships from Swiss businessman
On June 13, four students in their 2nd year of the Bachelor degree level at the Agriculture Faculty received grants worth 50,000 Baht. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anant Polthanee, the Dean of the Faculty as their representative, received thefunds from Mr.Georg M.Scherrer and hiswife Ms. Nannapas Scherrer, at the scholarships presentation ceremony held at the meeting room of the Faculty of Agriculture.
Attending the ceremony were also Asst. Prof. Dr. Rakpong Phetkham, theAssociate Dean for Administration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kritapol Sommart, the Associate Deanfor Research, Asst. Prof. Dr. Poramate Bantoeng, the Associate Dean for Students Affairs, Mr. Sa-ngard Panyaphruek, the Secretary of the Faculty of Agriculture, personnel and staff.
Mr. Georg M. Scherrer works for the investment management firm AG in Zurich, Switzerland. He and his wife offered the scholarships to four students studying at KKU.
