On 19^th June 2012, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Priprem-Vice President for Finance and Asset together with Directors of the Office of the President paid a study visit to Mie University. The main goal of the visit is to meet with senior administrators of Mie University and exchanged ideas about the rotation of staff members.

The collaborations between Mie University and Khon Kaen University have been ongoing since 1992. The two parties later signed the formal agreement in 2000. Presently, we have very active exchanges of students, faculties, and staff members in different fields.

During the visit, Prof. Hye-Sook Park, Executive Vice President for Environmental and International Affairs conveyed a welcome speech to KKU delegates. Host delegates included Prof. Katsuhiko Ando, Education Center for Medicine and Nursing, Mr. Toshimitsu Koshin, Director for General Affairs and Planning Department, Mr. Mikio Yamamura, Director for Academic Affairs and Information Department, and 5 other representatives.

Not only have we learned from Mie University during this visit, but the long-term relationship between Mie University and Khon Kaen University has also been consolidated, with strong and ever-lasting fruitful future to share.
