On May 14, 2012, the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering welcomed Professor Masami Ueno, Asst. Prof. Dr. Eizo Taira, and Ms. Yuriko Miyahira from University of Ryukyus, Japan, who paid a visit and gave a lecture on “Biomass and Agricultural Technology”, a topic related to sugar cane quality assessment technology and management of sugarcane refuse and turning it into energy. More than 25 full-time lecturers and students of the department attended the lecture.  

Additionally, the delegates met to discuss future academic collaboration with the Faculty’s administrators, led by the Dean, Assoc. Prof Dr. Somnuk Theerakulpisut, and Assoc. Prof Dr. Sununtha Kingpaiboon.
